BLUEBERRY HONEY

Produced in South Surrey when the bees forage primarily on blueberry flowers. It is a very rich, smooth honey.

A single bee colony can produce more than 100 pounds (45 kg) of extra honey and this is what is harvested by the beekeeper.

BEE POLLEN

WILDFLOWER HONEY

Produced in South Surrey and South Langley in 6 -8 different locations while the bees are back in their over wintering yards and foraging on a variety of wild flowers, including clover and blackberries. The flavour is a little different every year, but is generally a mild, sweet honey.

CRANBERRY HONEY

Produced in Richmond while our bees are in the cranberry bogs for pollination. They are surrounded by wild blackberries, so there is a lot of blackberry nectar in our cranberry honey as well. This honey has a stronger flavour, with a slightly tangy finish.

DID YOU

KNOW?

Honey is energy efficient! Recent energy life-cycle studies from Sweden show it takes less energy to produce domestic honey than to refine sugar from beets or sugar cane. Even less for local and raw honey.

BEESWAX CANDLES

Made of 100% pure beeswax. Beeswax is a natural substance secreted by bees to build their hives. It burns 3 – 5 times longer than paraffin wax. Beeswax candles are dripless and clean burning – in fact they clean the air by releasing negative ions that neutralize dirt, dust and bacteria from your air.
